The workshop is intended to bring together leading researchers  (representing both theory and experiment) in the field   of quantum dots. We plan that some ramifications of this field (extending  to other electronic systems of  restricted geometry -- single electron transistors, nanoparticles, short carbon nanotubes etc.) will be represented as well. Given the broad scope of this field, and in order to keep this meeting focused, special attention will be given to the following topics: interplay of charge and spin interactions, quantum coherence, and quantum dots  out of equilibrium.
    Organizers:
            Igor Burmistrov (Landau Institute)

            Yuval Gefen (Weizmann Institute)

            Igor Lerner (University of Birmingham)
